MVAC History

The Mahoning Valley Alumnae Chapter, also known as MVAC, was founded by thirteen women on October 27, 2012. Our members primarily live in the Mahoning Valley in northeast Ohio, but members travel from surrounding areas, and also come from various collegiate chapters across the country.

The MVAC is proud to support Phi Lambda at Youngstown State University. Phi Lambda was installed on September 28, 1957 and was a recognized student organization for 25 years. The chapter was re-installed after having been placed in trust for nearly 30 years. 36 collegiate members and 4 alumnae members re-installed Phi Lambda at Youngstown State University on December 10, 2011.
